There have been way too many false alarm fire calls lately. Two this morning resulted from a malfunctioning alarm box. It's sort of ironic that when I was at home, I read an article in the paper about how malfunctioning alarm systems are taxing Princeton's volunteer fire company. The township is passing an ordnance to fine people whose alarms are responsible for multiple false alarms. I don't know whether the problem in my town, West Windsor, is as severe.
