(no subject)
Feb. 24th, 2005 07:14 pmThings to accomplish:
1. Quantum homework. I seem to have completely forgotten the mechanics of doing power series solutions to ODE's from Physics 50. It is easy to lose computational math skills you haven't had to use in a year, but this is no excuse. Hence I have been hideously stuck on one part of one problem, unable to derive a simple 2-term recurrence relation. This may take a while longer.
2. Lab report. Theory- needs corrections/revision, based on notes from Catherine and her comments on my draft.
Figures - not prepared.
Data analysis- not complete.
This is due tomorrow at 1700. It's Catherine... e.g no excuses. An extension would be of no help since the rest of my weekend will be consumed by soul-destroying Algebra.
3. Algebra -- I've been up way, way too late doing algebra/ doing work I didn't get done because I spent all my time doing algebra for the past few nights. Algebra midterm: available now, due Tuesday.
Not even started studying... a ton of material to review, much of which I never completely mastered to begin with. It's open-Fraleigh, open notes, open solutions manual, and untimed. Hence I'm expecting something exceedingly difficult and that will take forever. I will probably pick it up Saturday.
Here's to not going to bed before 5:30 for the past few nights, and here's to yet another all nighter!
"Still it cried, 'Sleep no more! Algebra/quantum/advanced lab doth murder sleep!"
