Finally got myself an icon - it's a picture of an argon plasma in the experiment I worked on over the summer at the University of Iowa. I think there is probably a better picture of this out there (e.g. the cover photo of the July '04 Physics Today) but this is the best I have. obcordate, thanks for the gnome picture (which is cute), but I don't think most of the people who read my LJ would get the joke between you, Russell, and me.

Now it's really time for bed.
