1. Contra dance
2. Spectacular auto wreck by Strath Haven
3. Roundsing with Sol Weber
this has been an absolutely wild weekend. I'm dead tired from being up late for last night's call and then getting another one early this morning, and my voice is now gone from talking and singing, but this has been good.
Roundsinging - even though I wasn't there too long, as I had to leave to run physics clinic, I still learned a few new rounds, which was wonderful. I caught some of the end, too, after clinic. I also burned nearly 2 weeks worth of clinic salary on music, but it was so worth it.
nightengalesknd and
batshua came by, too, and it was good to have dinner with them and
fiddledragon.
Physics clinic is going well, too. I'm not as frustrated as I was with it last year, which is good. Perhaps I've gotten a little more confidence in trying to work with students of elementary mechanics. I do feel like I'm getting better at explaining problems Socratically, by asking questions leading to a solution rather than presenting a solution right out. I still don't know how good of a teacher I am, but I hope I'm being helpful.
Time to finish my 115 presentation and at least start Physics 8 grading.
