May. 15th, 2007 12:25 amTwo more exams for the term; electronics at 0915 on Thursday and 24-hour theory of solids at 1300. Trying to not forget what I learned about analog, while making sure I understand the digital aspects. I don't know how I'm going to cram as much solid state theory as I need to over the next few days, but I've gone over a fair amount of material today.
One thing I noticed on the news today: apparently President Bush was at an event in Jamestown when he took the conductor's baton as the orchestra played "The Stars and Stripes Forever." Here's a link to a YouTube video of this:

Bush seemed to think this was funny; I found his (literally) hand-wavy attempt at conducting both pathetic and, more importantly, highly disrespectful to the conductor and the orchestra. Apparently he also kissed the conductor on the head upon returning the baton, although that's not so clear from this video.
