After Particles today, I decided to swing by the Physics graduate administrator's office, to ask about the procedure for setting up one's oral quals. It then occurred to me that I had put in the paperwork for a Master's degree back in December, having completed the necessary coursework last term, but had yet to hear anything. She suggested that I call the registrar's office.

So I did, and they told me to go over and pick up my AM. It's kind of a weird feeling, to get a huge piece of paper with a Latin inscription.

I also started a new lab notebook today.
