So just now, I actually went airborne on a bike. I was speeding downhill across the lawn in front of McCabe and Parrish for a fire call (dispatched as a commercial building fire, turned out to be nothing more than a smoking clothes washer) when I got to the depression through which the Sharples to Willets path runs. It was the most unusual feeling to suddenly realize that there was no ground below me for a second or so.
