I was wearing the blue Lantern Night T-shirt that trinfinity2001 designed when I came into the electronics shop this morning to desolder something. One of the senior grad students in another lab noticed the T-shirt, and asked how I had gotten it. It turned out she was a Mawrtyr, '02.

Somehow interesting things always seem to happen when I'm wearing that T-shirt, whether it be working fires, getting caught on the summit of a mountain in a sudden thunderstorm, or chance meetings like this morning. :)

I almost always get comments from former mawtyrs or people who know current and former Mawrtyrs whenever I wear one of my BMC t-shirts.

Her name is Anne... I actually should check with one of my friends in her lab as to whether she's a graduate student or postdoc.
