Friday night I played a song for the Noteables, the Harvard Broadway show tunes ensemble, whose regular pianist had to be hospitalized. I enjoyed having the opportunity to accompany and now have half of their numbers stuck in my head.

Carols were tonight and tomorrow. Trudging through the snow to get to MemChurch this morning was not fun. More about all of this later.

I remember trying to take the Putnam the day after our concert sophomore year, and gave up due to tiredness--but not before all the math people who'd been to or in the concert had griped about songs stuck in their head (one claimed it was a solo I'd done, "The Wizard and I" from Wicked). I love being MD, for this--it means I get to know /all/ the songs well enough to remember them, rather than just hearing them once or twice.
