I overslept this morning and didn't arise until 0930 (and I was in bed and asleep by 0100). Decided to go for a short, slow run and stretch out to get rid of soreness. The weather was humid but sunny.
I got back to Mayflower by 1015, and the weather was still nice. Things looked perfectly normal until 1035 or so, when I spent about 10 minutes in the bathroom cleaning myself up and getting ready for church.
Then, when I emerged a few minutes later, the sky had turned black. I looked out the window as a ferocious thunderstorm began. All day, since, it has been alternating between light rain and severe downpours.
Now I should stop poking around LJ and actually do some of the data analysis I promised myself I'd do this afternoon.
