I'm drinking what I brewed -- I should never have waited until now to seriously start my 10 minute PowerPoint final research presentation.

I haven't used PowerPoint in years (not since a presentation on particle accelerators or something like that, in Physics 6H).

The interface is unintuitive; simple tasks like copying images from other slides are tough. I don't like how Microsoft presumes a specific format for the slide (title and then bulleted list) unless you conscienscously choose something else.

If I were to become a physicist and had to give talks more often, I'd seriously consider getting Apple's Keynote presentation software. Has anyone had any experience with it?

Returning some scores to music library before they close for the night and the scores become overdue; then back to work.

Keynote is sweet but Prosper is sweeter.
Cheaper, and LaTeX-based, too. It also works anywhere you can get Acrobat Reader, which is ideal.

I can get you keynote..

I have heard that keynote is not that exciting. I have it on my computer, but I don't use it. And No I don't know you. It isn't that large a program, I have a compressed version I can put somewhere.
