Me (in frustration): First the dryer wouldn't dry my clothes at all, and now it ate my quarters!

([livejournal.com profile] msarcher and I walk over to laundry room. She presses "start" buttton on dryer. Dryer starts.)

I so need not to be stressed and tired. Physics in general is killing me.

Back to my IDL program that's supposed to Fourier-analyze an EKG signal. Amy's numerical 111 problems are so time-consuming that they're detracting from the time I could be spending studying the analytical aspects of the material, which I think are much more important. e.g., I might have the time to work through all the algebra for the derivation of the Green's function for the harmonic oscillator, or try it using Laplace transforms.

Au travail!

Woo. I have no idea what you're babbling about this time, you crazy French-speaking Physics madman, but maybe in a few weekends I can come down for a visit.

In t3h !nt3r!m, when you get stressed, just perform some taiji breathing exercises.

Amy's assignments, as I recall, tended to border on the absurd: either absurdly easy or fifty problems in two weeks (she did that to us twice in a row in physics 50, by the way).

Dude, don't be killed please. That would make me sad since you are cool. But can I call you "crazy French-speaking Physics madman" from now on? Because that's, like, the best nickname ever.

Yeah... go right ahead!

Enough people complained to Amy Bug about the workload of Physics 111 and especially her really time-consuming numerical problems, that I think she'll lighten up a bit. I'll survive.
