Leaving for Canada on the annual family "vacation"; I'll be out of contact until late next week.
(I was going to write a much longer post explaining all of this, and why I say "vacation", but there's still too much packing to do and my dad is spazzing over not having every single map together, every meal planned, every i dotted and t crossed, and now having wasted a page printing something... Well that's enough to give you an idea of why.)

Russell and I have scrapped our plans for our trek, by the way. Too far and too little time. Moreover, we're thinking of saving this for winter break, when you can go too.
