Sep. 15th, 2005 04:14 amThe poster is coming... there'll be something by 11. It's not going to be perfect (I spent 3 hours futzing with 1 graph in IDL). I had a scare when I couldn't get some code to reproduce a data analysis from July. Turned out that I had had to change the code to analyze more recent data because we had changed around the cables in the screen room. The whole thing gave me a bit of a scare but it's worked out.
But, yes, they have relegated all of the physics posters into a corner by the pedestrian footbridge. Astro has been stuck in a corner at the other end of the Science Commons. As
blaketh put it, it's going to be the Physics Ghetto, with the session utterly overwhelmed by the bazillion biology and chemistry posters. I fear we're not going to end up with much foot traffic. Hence all the more reason to have a Tri-Co Physics/Astro poster session sometime... we might actually get people to talk to who would be interested in what we're doing.
