The poster is coming... there'll be something by 11. It's not going to be perfect (I spent 3 hours futzing with 1 graph in IDL). I had a scare when I couldn't get some code to reproduce a data analysis from July. Turned out that I had had to change the code to analyze more recent data because we had changed around the cables in the screen room. The whole thing gave me a bit of a scare but it's worked out.

But, yes, they have relegated all of the physics posters into a corner by the pedestrian footbridge. Astro has been stuck in a corner at the other end of the Science Commons. As [livejournal.com profile] blaketh put it, it's going to be the Physics Ghetto, with the session utterly overwhelmed by the bazillion biology and chemistry posters. I fear we're not going to end up with much foot traffic. Hence all the more reason to have a Tri-Co Physics/Astro poster session sometime... we might actually get people to talk to who would be interested in what we're doing.

Back to work!

To echo [livejournal.com profile] deaminerva, come see my Sigma Xi poster too, today from 5-8 and tomorrow from 1-5. It is done (sort of quit working on it around 6 or 6:30 in the morning). I am now going back to ML for a few hours of well-deserved sleep.
